Meet our Team

Josh Walcott/Owner/Coach

Josh Walcott is a devoted husband and father of four who values faith, family, and service to others. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys spending time with his family and coaching baseball, both of which continue to shape his approach to leadership and mentorship.

Josh played high school baseball, and although injuries prevented him from continuing at the collegiate level, they guided him toward a lifelong passion for teaching the game. With over 15 years of coaching and instructional experience, he focuses on helping young athletes develop sound fundamentals, confidence, and character.

From 2006 to 2010, he served as a nationally certified instructor with a former baseball and softball training franchise, where he had the opportunity to learn from and work alongside former professional players and coaches. Josh remains committed to providing quality instruction in a positive environment that supports growth both on and off the field.

Mike Diaz

With a genuine passion for baseball rooted in his family history and his time on the field, Coach Mike Diaz offers private lessons in hitting and fielding. A dedicated and passionate coach for over six years, he combines his love for the game with the discipline and principles learned during his time in the Army. He translates these core values into his coaching, helping players achieve success they can apply throughout their journeys, both in baseball and in life.

Having played competitively through high school, Coach Diaz has a deep understanding of the game's fundamentals. His coaching style is rooted in patience and a commitment to developing proper skills from the ground up. He believes in a tailored approach for each athlete, customizing his instruction to unlock their full potential and build lasting confidence.

Kayla Molivas

Kayla Molivas, born and raised in Stedman, played 4 years at Cape Fear High School and was a part of 3 state runner-up teams. She went on to play college softball at North Carolina Wesleyan University, where she earned multiple all-conference awards as a catcher and third baseman. After graduating with her degree in education, she returned home as a 6th-grade teacher and head softball coach at Mac Williams Middle School. Kayla also assisted at Methodist University. She is now the assistant coach back at North Carolina Wesleyan. Kayla has extensive experience in coaching and teaching lessons. She loves to explain the game's details and teach the next generation. She not only teaches athletes how to develop a good work ethic and succeed in the sport, but also how to respond to the failures the sport brings. She teaches and preaches all aspects of the game, encompassing physical, mental, and emotional elements. Kayla loves to bring passion and enthusiasm to help athletes develop and find their love for the game.
